Solid Gold Formula is my Buckskin Appaloosa filly I bred and raised from my palomino mare Maid Outta Gold.
She was born May 13, 2018, in my arms. Goldie was having trouble getting her shoulders out, so I went in to assist, Goldie was standing and didn’t want to lay back down, so here I was, alone and not really knowing what I was doing, except for watching some YouTube videos about foaling out mares that were standing. Most of the videos I watched, had at least 3 people assisting the mare, one at the mares head and 2 people at the rear. Oh, and a vet that actually cared was there too.
My mare was very disoriented after the birth of her filly, and it was dangerous in there as Goldie had a hard time holding her balance. She was weak and tired.
All worked out, and I have a beautiful Buckskin Filly to raise and train. (Butterscotch is a full sister to Buttercup)

Her barn name is Butterscotch, she is such a rich buckskin color.
