Socialization...How we both benefit.

Experienced breeders will have begun socializing the puppies at 3 weeks of age.

At 8 weeks it is time to begin introducing your puppy to new people, other dogs, noises, scents, cars, roads, traffic, etc.

Some small towns and villages will allow you to bring your puppy into the stores and socialize them there. Your puppy will learn exceptional manners out in public places.

We have many visitors here, some even stay over night. Our dogs always welcome them, (once they are in the door and the dogs check them out), they even lay with them and sometimes they want to sleep with them. If our visitors don't mine, neither do we.

New experiences like these will go a long way towards helping them become a well-balanced adults. At this age pups learn very fast. And what we learn stays with us. We know that your going to enjoy making the socialisation period successful.

Because........................ You've struck gold.

Your puppy needs to meet your friends and their pets. So your going to be socializing too. Your going to meet new people on your walks. They'll stop and admire your puppy. If your lucky they might even talk to you as well. Your going to laugh a lot-because they definetly make you laugh.
